Jason from Massachusetts asks, “what is Google’s sandbox?”
Google’s Sandbox is a term coined by search engine optimization people for a phenomenon occuring when a site doesn’t appear in the search results like it is expected. While many think a web site is affected for all keywords for the site, that is rarely the case.
If a web site is affected by the filters employed by Google™, the web site is affected for single and two keyword phrases. The sandbox filter is not used for keyword phrases of three or more words.
If you think your web site is affected by Google’s filter, you can visit theSandbox test site provided by Robert Taft.
