I read that a Google Sitemap™ can help Google™ index my website, but I don’t know how to build a Google Sitemap™. Is there some place I can go to do this?
Dave, this is a very good question. A Google Sitemap is an XML file that includes links to your Web pages and files. If you know how to program you can program a script that will develop a site map for you. AuditMyPC.com offers a Java-based application that does a very good job at creating Google Sitemaps. You can use their free Google Sitemap generator. They will do up to 50,000 links. They also provide very good instructions on what to do once you have your Google Sitemap(tm) generated.
To use the Google Sitemap(tm) service you need to have an account. Visithttps://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login to create your account.
